Susan Wilson of Cortez, FL passed away September 12, 2016 in Blake Medical Center, after returning from a family trip to England and Scotland where she fell ill. Susan was born in Slaton, TX, to the late; Tracy and Mary (nee Kelly) Lovelady. She was one of 7 siblings.
Susan was a wonderful person, very loving and caring. She and her husband, Eric, traveled a great deal in their retirement and had many fun times. She retired from Northwest Airlines where she was a Supervisor on the Minneapolis Ticket Counter and Gates for a number of years. Upon retiring she became involved in the Anna Maria turtle watch program for a period of time.
Susan is survived by her husband of 15 years, together for an additional 19 years, Eric Wilson, Jr., of Cortez, FL, sister, Mary Jane of Slaton, TX, brother, Jerry of Houston, TX, daughters; Wendy and Elizabeth, granddaughter, Camille, great grandson, Paxton, all of Burnsville, MN. Extended family, Laura, John, John, Jr. and Allison of Orlando, FL and Gregory Wilson and Josephine Mauro of Alpharetta, GA.
A Celebration of Susan’s life will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Harvey Memorial Community Church, 300 Church Ave., Bradenton Beach, FL. Arrangements have been entrusted to Skyway Memorial Funeral Home.
