Connie Bissell, Flight Attendant, died peacefully 4 January 2015 of cancer.
Connie was in the F/A class of 6/1/70 and was based in LAS, MEM, DTW and HNL in the 36 years with the airline. She flew short months for the last few years and enjoyed it to the last. The imposed bankruptcy contract made the short months too long so Connie retired end of 2006.
The discovery and diagnosis of Stage IV cancer occured at the end of July 2014. She took the news with her usual optimism and determination. After seven weeks of Hospice at home on Molokai, even that was not enough.
