Donald Bruce Denning, Sr. of Springfield died February 14, of heart failure, at the age of 80.
He was born on April 1, 1932 in Eugene to Laura Catlin and Richard Denning. He grew up and attended school in Springfield.
He served in the United States Air Force from 1950-1955. He married Jeanyce Lawson on May 4, 1962.
He was an airline station agent for 30 years, retiring from Northwest Airlines in 1988.
He is survived by his wife; daughter: Diane Tilby of Eugene; sons: Donald Denning, Jr., of Aloha and David Denning of Eugene; 6 grandchildren: Caitlin, Megan, Bruce, Gaven, Brycen and Roman; and sisters: Louise McQuin and Elizabeth Holverson.
