Ret. Captain Glenn A. WELDY   Sherry Emerson, Linda Faires (Charles), Debbie Doran (Michael), and Scott Weldy (Victoria), announce the passing of their beloved father Glenn A. Weldy. Glenn was 79, born May 20, 1924 in Seattle. He passed away Monday, May 3, 2004. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Mary E. Weldy, and son-in-law Roger Emerson. He served in the Navy during WWII on the USS Enterprise. Glenn was a Pilot for Northwest Airlines and was a member of the Air Line Pilot Association. He was a member of Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club and Auburn Elks. In addition to his four children, he is survived by his current wife Alma Stewart Weldy, brothers Wayne and Jule Weldy, 12 grandchildren, and five great-granddaughters. He will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association or Franciscan Hospice. A Celebration of Life Reception to be held at the Museum of Flight, Boeing Field, Seattle on Saturday, May 8, 2004, 2:00 -4:30 p.m. in the Skyline room.
